Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Android version of Worder: Daily Word Game (the “App”), provided by AppStation Studio Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including its online, social, and multiplayer features. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of Google Play.
2. Accounts & Sign-In
Certain features — including multiplayer, achievements, and leaderboards — require signing in with Google Play Games. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account you use to sign in and for all activity that occurs under it. Your nickname and avatar are provided through that service.
3. Acceptable Use & Fair Play
When using the App, and especially in multiplayer, you agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage;
- harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other players;
- use offensive, misleading, or infringing nicknames or content;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or our servers;
- use the App in violation of any applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms.
4. User Content
You are responsible for the content you provide, including your nickname. You must not submit content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others. We may remove content or restrict features that violate these Terms.
5. Purchases
The App may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Google through Google Play and are subject to Google’s terms. Except as required by applicable law or Google Play’s policies, purchases are non-refundable.
6. Intellectual Property
The App and all related content, trademarks, and materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited license above.
7. Termination & Account Deletion
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account via Settings → Delete Account in the App, or by emailing app@worder.game. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Deletion of your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Google Play
These Terms are between you and AppStation Studio Pte. Ltd. only, and not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for providing support for the App, except as separately stated in the Google Play Terms of Service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of our registration, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
